Directions: The hotel
is located on the south side of Chandler Blvd, just east of I10. Turn south
onto Southgate Drive. Keep to the right and you will go in front of a Marie
Calendar Restaurant...the hotel will be straight in front of you. You will
need enter through the main lobby.
Radisson Hotel Advantages
The hotel
meeting space is set up to take advantage of acoustics , with a podium and
optional microphone. The room has a pull down overhead screen that allows
better viewing angles from the audience. As the meetings get larger (our last
meeting had 75 artists), the ability to hear the speaker from the back of room
becomes a problem, so we can utilize the hotels better setup to facilitate the
presentations. The hotel has a restaurant and bar that are open evenings, and
a Marie Callenders restaurant is a short walk cross the parking lot. The area
has many fine eateries near by and if you are familiar with this section, I
can make some recommendations, as can some of our other members.

Door Prices, Special Discounts, and Other Items sometimes appear at meetings. The Guild also has a membership and sign in table, so you have the ability to fill out a membership form at the meeting, pay by cash or check, and take care of membership needs at one time. You can also have your artwork juried if you bring photos, or original work to the meeting. IF you have internet access, the jury process can take place online, with instructions on our web site. Monthly Meeting Dates: Third Thursday of Each Month
The Meetings are attended by close to 75 artists and guests, and are open to the Public. The meetings feature a wide array of topics, speakers, city officials, workshops, and critiques. Previous speaker topics have included - Digital Photography, Italian Painters, Glass Artists, Merchants Association -DCCP, Art Gallery curators, and Art Supply Houses. The meetings are broken into three sections, so members and guests can spend a few hours or all evening with the Guild. Anyone can attend the public meetings and Networking Social.
